District Ed Tech 3-year Plans Due – April 1, 2013

  Alaska school districts are required to submit an Education Technology Plan every three years.  The districts are staggered on a rotating basis.

District will need to set aside time to plan and create a 3-year plan.  The steps require:

– Budget Inventory Analysis submitted by November 15, 2012  BIA Budget_Inventory_Analysis_Form_05-13-001

– Ed Tech Plan submitted by April 1, 2013  Tech_Plan_Review_Form_05-13-013

This year, the following districts ed tech plans are up for review:

Aleutian Region Schools
Bering Strait Schools
Delta/Greely Schools
Denali Borough Schools
Grace Christian (Private School)
Kake City Schools
Kenai Peninsula Borough Schools
Kodiak Christian (Private School)
Kodiak Island Borough Schools
Kuspuk Schools
Lake and Peninsula Borough Schools
Lower Kuskokwim Schools
Mt. Edgecumbe High School
Nome City Schools
Petersburg City Schools
Saint Mary’s Elementary (Private School)
SERRC
Sitka Borough Schools
Unalaska City Schools

The process takes a while to complete, since it involves getting input from all who are impacted in the district and villages.  A 10-min video that outlines the process is available online.
