Web Resources – iPad Implementation

Here’s two sites that were shared on our Skype chat this morning with the district ed tech coordinators.

iPad as….

iPads have exploded throughout schools and classrooms. Their flexibility, versatility, and mobility make them a phenomenal learning tool. As teachers seek ways to integrate these devices, we recommend focusing on specific learning goals that promote critical-thinking, creativity, collaboration, and the creation of student-centric learning environments. Below, you will find a list of objectives, each one connecting to recommended apps and tools.

This page gathers all of the Bloomin’ Apps projects in one place!
Each of the images has clickable hotspots and includes suggestions for
iPad, Google, Android, and Web 2.0 applications
to support each of the levels of Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy.

The use of the triangle shape for Bloomin’ apps projects was not used
to help clear up the misunderstanding that the levels are hierarchical and
the top levels only make up a tiny portion of the cognitive processes.

This page allows you to share your favorite Web 2.0, iOS, or Android app with others.

  1. I love both of these. Thanks for putting them up for all. I think the Bloomin’ Apps using cogs demonstrates that the all learning should be interconnected.
( like cogs and cognitive used together)
